Olympic Industries

Olympic Industries is a lumber trading and wood supply company in North Vancouver. Imagine the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, then make it all about wood and drop it in an office on the North Shore. Lots of energy and Bluetooth headsets.

I helped Olympic put together a corporate report. If it involves wood or lumber, Olympic probably has a hand in it: trading, distribution, import and export, manufacturing, and derivatives, all done to the highest standards of corporate responsibility. The report had to get all that across with speed and confidence.

The final product rolled together the company’s history, explained the unique practices, perspectives, and innovations that make them a global leader, and outlined where they see their industry heading in the coming decades.

To get there, I conducted interviews with team members across every department to ensure I gained a holistic understanding of every facet of their business. I then used those transcripts to write knowledgably about Olympic from the top down and create testimonials that offered human insight into how and why Olympic works at a world class level.
